Fall is here and I am loving it! I have a closet full of sweaters ready to wear and pumpkin decorations on the shelves. Traditions are what make things more special and give something to look forward to. One of our traditions to make it feel more like fall, is making a batch of Wassail. Its a concoction of fruit juices and spices. It is my favorite!
When i was little I spent every other weekend at my Dads and Step-Moms house. This recipe was one of hers and it became one of my favorite things about going to their house. It made me so happy to see wassail in the fridge when I was there visiting. We only had this drink around Christmas time but for me, it’s become a fall and winter tradition. This is also great for a sore throat or a cold. My kids love to help pour in the juices and mix. I hope you enjoy it as much as our family does!
